Georgia has been ranked 91 in terms of technological readiness in the 2007-2008 World Economic Forum Global Information Technology Report, up two places from last year.

The report assesses national information and communications technology (ICT) networks and evaluates their progress.

In 2006 there were around eight internet users per 100 inhabitants in Georgia, the report says.

Azerbaijan was the highest ranking South Caucasian country at 67 and Armenia ranked 106. Russia came in at 72, dropping two places since last year. The highest ranked countries were Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, the US and Singapore.
