Ukraine and Turkey to increase trade

Trade turnover between Ukraine and Turkey for January–April is up more than half over the same period last year, the news agency Regnum reports.

Trade turnover hit USD 2.1 billion, Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko said on June 26, 56 percent higher than the first four months of the previous year.

Yushchenko said he hoped for USD 10 billion in annual trade between Ukraine and Turkey by 2010.
