ICC Georgia activities

On September 22, ICC Georgia members met the newly appointed head of Georgian Revenue Services Mr. Giorgi Tkskhakaia and his three Deputies, Irakli Siradze, Lili Begiashvili and Giga Khvingia. The goal of the meeting was for the members to become better acquainted with the strategy of the Revenue Service and report some of the major impediments facing businesses in order to build a good working relationship with the Georgian Revenues Services.

During open and frank discussions several issues were covered and some specific problems were addressed.

ICC Georgia Chairman Fady Asly initiated creating a working group consisting of ICC members and Revenue Service staff, which would meet regularly to discuss issues of importance. Mr. Tskhakaia welcomed this proposal and promised to act on it.
