Geocell promotes people with restricted mobility

Friday, December 4
Geocell presented a portfolio of photographs by 22 year-old Ana Goguadze called 'Me-Ania' on December 3, the International Day of Disabled People. Goguadze's photos featured Georgia's top models, dressed in garments designed by Avtandil, seated in wheelchairs.

Geocell undertook this initiative to promote the idea that it is absolutely necessary for society to integrate people with disabilities, and the company is taking practical steps to achieve this. Already many Geocell offices have facilities which enable wheelchair users to enter them. It also employs disabled people.

The presentation of photographs was held in the Tbilisi State Concert Hall, which also is proud to be able to help disabled people enter the concert hall without any problems and enjoy performances. Designers Avto Tskvitinidze, Maka Asatiani and Tako Chkheidze, actor Duta Skhirtladze and others participated in the event.

Geocell representative Irma Tskitishvili said that the company hoped that this initiative would trigger other organisations, public offices and businesses to contribute to the noble work of integrating disabled people into society better.
