Fitch Ratings confirm TBC Bank B+ rating

The international ratings agency Fitch Ratings published ratings for Georgian banks for 2010. The agency confirmed the B+ rating category to TBC Bank which it was granted it in 2009.

In 2009 TBC Bank was the only Georgian bank to be granted a B+ rating. It was a big success particularly since in 2008-2009 the world economy suffered a major crisis which also affected the situation in Georgia. In general Fitch Ratings evaluated the situation of Georgian banks in 2009-10 as positive. Fitch Ratings highlighted in particular the high capitalisation, liquidity level and profitability of TBC Bank.
