MES Awards Son of National War Hero

On August 7, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Akaki Seperteladze presented George Damenia with a portable computer and books at MES. George Damenia is the son of Zaza Damenia – a National Hero who died in the war. Zaza Damenia was named as a National Hero by order of the President.

George Damenia is an excellent 6th grader of Public School ¹186. He plays basketball and has achievements in sports. As George particularly likes to study the history of Georgia, MES awarded him with history books and literature.

George participates in different activities. In addition Public School ¹186 presented George with a ticket for one year's free swimming pool pass.

According to the First Deputy Minister, MES always encourages successful school children. It is very important to remember the families of the heroes who died in the war. (MES)
