The head of the Nuclear safety state committee in Armenia, Ashot Martirosian, stated that no nuclear power station could be built without international expertise, therefore he expressed his support for the US initiative to cooperate in Armenia’s new nuclear power energy station. Martirosian even proposed a plan of options for different countries to participate in the construction, which envisages involving Russian, American, German and Japanese companies in the construction activities.
