Vera Kobalia became “Minister of the Year”

Readers of Commersant.ge named Vera Kobalia as “Minister of the Year.” 1517 respondents answered the question – “Who is the Minister of the year with an economic and social profile?” with the following results:

• Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Vera Kobalia – 32.4%

• Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Ramaz Nikolaishvili – 30.7%

• Minister of Finance, Kakha Baindurashvili – 12.6%

• Minister of Energy, Alexander Khetaguri – 9.9%

• Minister of Healthcare, Andria Urushadze – 5%

• Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occuppied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees, Koba Subeliani – 4.1%

• Minister of Agriculture, Bakur Kvezereli – 3%

• Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, Giorgi Khachidze – 2.3%

Vera Kobalia thanked the readers of Commersant.ge during her interview with Commersant radio and noted that every ministry has an equal share in this victory since the activities of only one economic agency cannot be successful. “We must be worried about what we do 24 hours a day. Moreover, the government must lay a foundation for the development of small and medium sized businesses. I meet foreigners on daily basis who look astonishingly at the rate our country is changing,” the minister noted.
