Minister’s Gift to the unfortunate 13 year old Giorgi Malazonia

Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini presented 13 year old Giorgi Malazonia with a personal computer and wished him a happy New Year. Giorgi lives with his foster-mother, Mariam Zaalishvili in difficult living conditions.

Besides having cerebral palsy and movement problems, tough social and physical conditions, Giorgi is an 8th grader from Tbilisi Public School #30 and is a successful student. He is interested in chess and is the holder of many awards.

The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia was informed about Giorgi through Imedi TV. The MES will familiarized itself with the problems of Giorgi, and will become concerned with his studying and if needed, provide him with assistance.
