Georgia’s foreign economic relations

From the beginning of this year, Turkey has consistently has the highest trade turnover with Georgia of any foreign country. Next comes Ukraine and third is Azerbaijan. In the first three months of 2011, the trade turnover reached USD 1.8 bln of which more than USD 400 mln is in exports. Encouragingly, trade turnover with EU countries as well as CIS countries is also on the rise.
