Problems in Javakheti not the Result of Discrimination

Problems in the Javakheti region of Georgia are not the result of discrimination, the leader of National Congress of Armenia and former president of Armenia Levon Ter- Petrosyan stated on October 3. According to him there are many problems which should be addressed appropriately but these have never been the result of a policy of discrimination. He expressed his position that Georgia will do its best to address these problems. According to him president Saakashvili has made a step forward by granting the Armenian church in Georgia equal legal status.
