A representative of the New Rights Levan Kalandadze stated that Georgian liberal economic policy exists only on paper. In reality the ruling power tries to concentrate all economic levers in its hands. The liberal economy according to Kalanadze should regulate economic and social processes itself, however in Georgia everything is in the hands of ruling power and they are managed and regulated by the ruling power.

Business, in particular small and medium size, is a guarantor of democracy, while in Georgia the official structures maintain all mechanisms to regulate the situation in the country. Business is not given independence and freedom, thinks Kalandadze.
