Iran Transport Preferences

Iranian officials have expressed their readiness to help in the construction of railway connecting Iran and Russia through Azerbaijan. In December a meeting between the representatives of these three countries will take place to sign a contract. This route eventually will connect Europe and Iran through Russia and further to Asian countries. There is speculation concerning the construction of railways connecting Iran with Armenia as well.
