Some segments of Georgian business are to be taxed according to fixed tariffs. It is still not clear however what kinds of businesses will be eligible for paying fixed tariffs. This should be clarified at some point in January. The tax department suggests two models for fixed tariffs. The first is targeted at small entrepreneurs that serve individual entities rather than corporate ones. The second model is targeted at entrepreneurs involved in trade. It has been suggested that such entrepreneurs will pay 3% of their turnover. They will be obliged to use cash machines and have the appropriate accounting documents.
