Student summer job program registration opens

Starting yesterday, registration for the Ministry of Education and Science's summer jobs for students program has opened.

The registration period will last until April 20. Students must fill out an application at http://www.summerjob.ge, where they can choose the type of work they would like to participate in.

Initiated by President Mikheil Saakashvili, the Student Summer Employment Program will take place from July 20-August 20, 2012. Georgia undergraduate students may participate, in order to receive work experience and a stipend of 500 GEL. An estimated 25,000 students will take part in the project, where they can choose from 70 varieties of work.
