India largest arms buyer worldwide

The arms trade is one of the biggest businesses worldwide. The United States is the largest supplier of weapons, followed by Russia, Germany, France, and China. The biggest buyer of arms is currently India, which purchases approximately 10% of all arms sold. Until recently, a large consumer of arms was Syria, buying primarily from Russia.
