Government collects 7B GEL in revenue in 2011

According to the Ministry of Finance, in 2011 the Georgian government's revenue amounted to nearly 7 billion GEL, more than 6 billion of which was collected in taxes. Budget revenue was 28.8% of the total GDP. According to Finance Minister Dimitri Ghvindadze, economic growth in 2011 outpaced the previous year, reaching 7%.
