Business complains about high interest rates

The Georgian business community is criticizing local banks for their high interest rates on commercial and personal loans.

Their complaints have been echoed by financial analysts and the general public, leading President Mikheil Saakashvili publically stating that interest rates should be reduced - although no plan of action has emerged from the government.
