Baghaturia speaks about losing Adjara

Rezonansi reports that the leader of Georgian Troupe expressed his fear of possibly losing the Adjara region of Georgia, as 25 000 citizens of Turkey have been granted Georgian citizenship recently.

Baghaturia has focused on granting voting rights to them. According to him, there is much serious agitation and propaganda ongoing between Turkey and the Adjara territories. It's as if Adjara is a part of Turkey and Georgia took away the territory from the Turks 100 years ago.

This situation is directly dictates that we are losing Adjara. "The threat of loss is real," Baghaturia said.



Khatia Dekanoidze visits Kutaisi examination center

The newly appointed head of the National Examinations Center Khatia Dekanoidze, paid a visit to Kutaisi which is in the process of united national exams. The exams will begin at the end of June. During the unified entry exams, two examination centers will be operating in Kutaisi. Overall, 17 examination centers will be open throughout Georgia, Akhali Taoba reports.

Kutaisi's examination centers will be located within the buildings of Kutaisi State University and Andria Razmadze Kutaisi Public School #41. 1,500 entrants will take exams at the Kutaisi examination centers.

Auditoriums have already been equipped with video surveillance facilities. They will be fully furnished in few days.

The unified entry exams will start on June 28 and teachers' certification exams will begin on July 2. Students who want to improve their state grant will be able to take the exam on July 6. The graduate records exam will be held on July 12-13.

The exam results will be announced on August 25.



Luka Kurtanidze: I’m ready to fulfill what Bidzina Ivanishvili says at the cost of my life

The People’s Assembly will offer a majority candidate to the Georgian Dream coalition– "someone who will be ready for the fight and victory," representative of the People's Assembly, Luka Kurtanidze, world champion in free style wrestling, stated. “There is more filth in Georgian politics than in other counties and a lot this needs to be regulated. I’ll stand next to the people who can do this. I’ll agree to what Bidzina Ivanishvili offers me”, Luka Kurtanidze said, adding that Bidzina Ivanishvili, as a person who did a lot for the country, has the right to speak most loudly.

“I’m ready to fulfill what Bidzina Ivanishvili says at the cost of my life”, Luka Kurtanidze said. He highlighted that he will not support the idea of splitting the opposition.
