Kazakh oil and Georgia

Kazakh oil gets to the world market though Georgia. In 2012, Kazakhstan exported through the Caspian oil pipeline 29 million tons of oil. The Kazakh port of Aktau on the Caspian Sea exports oil via Baku, and to the Black Sea port of Batumi. Kazakhstan has plans to transport some of this oil though the existing Baku-Ceyhan oil pipeline. It depends on the capacity of the pipeline as well as the prices charged by BTC.
