CIS and EU in Georgian trade turnover

Georgia has not been a CIS member for several years now. However, Georgia's level of trade turnover with CIS countries is still higher than the trade turnover level with EU countries. The biggest trade partner for Georgia is Turkey, which is neither in the EU or the CIS. Georgia’s main strategic partner is the US, which holds the sixth position among Georgia’s trade turnover partners.
