Annually, the budget receives GEL 150 million from selling tobacco products. The organizations that are leading the fight against smoking demand that excise taxes should be increased. Thus, cigarettes will cost 20-30% more. However, skeptics believe that smokers will continue smoking no matter how expensive tobacco becomes.
