Georgian National Bank’s international reserves decrease

According to preliminary data, the international reserves of the National Bank of Georgia amounted to $3,049 billion on 31 July 2013. This is $67.2 million less than the indicator for June 30, 2013, the National Bank of Georgia told Trend on Saturday.

The international reserves, converted into foreign currency, amounted to $2.8 billion, including those placed in securities, which amounted to $1.81 billion, and those placed in the accounts of foreign banks and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) - $1 billion, the National Bank said.
