Projects for development of Georgia’s infrastructure for 2014 presented

Monday, January 13
Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia David Narmania presented the project plan for 2014 on January 9. All infrastructure projects planned for the current year will start by spring, according to the minister.

"If the first several months of 2013 were dedicated to the revision of projects, re-declaring of tenders and so on, 2014 will be different in this regard. Tender procedures will be completed in early spring and all infrastructure projects that began last year will continue very actively," Narmania said.

The priorities will include construction of roads and water supply work, according to the minister.

The minister stressed that the installation of the Tetnuldi skiing system will begin this year.

Narmania also touched on self-government reforms and said that work in this direction will be carried out actively.
