According to the Foreign Minister of Georgia Maia Panjikidze, the members of the delegation that will depart for signing of the Association Agreement have not been made known yet.

Maia Panjikidze told it reporters after the government session. She responded to the question whether the delegation members are known and whether the President will be in it.

“The delegation members have not been confirmed yet, as the exact scenario has not been made known from Brussels in relation to how many people will attend the signing process. Presumably, we will find out these details this week,” – Maia Panjikidze said. (IPN)

The Military Police have launched an investigation into the incident occurred between the guards of the Rustavi penitentiary facility # 2 and three Kists, a representative of the Public Defender’s Office of Georgia told Frontnews on Tuesday.

We remind you that physical confrontation took place between the guards of the Rustavi penitentiary facility # 2 and three Kists were seriously injured several weeks ago. Relatives of the injured Kists told Frontnews on June 2.

“Clashes took place about three weeks ago. Initially residents of the Pankisi Gorge beat 20 young recruits. Situation calmed down for the moment, but later the fight continued outside. The boys had been severally beaten, after that they were hospitalized”, one of the relatives of the injured people told Frontnews on June 2.

As he says, the commander of these boys gave permission for others to beat there three Kists.

According to him, family members of the injured Kists met with the commander on June 1. “The commander told them, that they don’t obey the leadership. These boys are not allowed to visit their homes. They told the Kist recruits: “You are terrorists”. Other guards have already visited their homes 3 or 4 times. I think the relevant agencies should be interested in this fact”, one of the relatives of the injured people told Frontnews on June 2. (Frontnews)

Ivanishvili says high bonuses are the greatest mistake of the government

Georgian billionaire, former Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili says the most painful decision of the current government of Georgia was the payment of surprisingly high bonuses to some senior officials, adding such facts should not happen in Georgia.

Traffic movement banned on Liakhvi Bridge

Armenian president to visit Georgia

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will be on an official visit to Georgia on June 18 and 19.

The Georgian presidential administration told Trend that on June 18 the presidential palace in Tbilisi will host a meeting ceremony for Sargsyan.

Following a one-on-one meeting, the Armenian and Georgian Presidents, Serzh Sargsyan and Giorgi Margvelashvili will make a joint statement for the media.

The same evening, Sargsyan will meet with Georgian Parliament's Speaker David Usupashvili, and on June 19, he will meet with Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
