Georgian government pays off debt to UNESCO

The Georgian government has paid off the 12,449 EUR in debt it owes UNESCO for holding an event dedicated to the country’s Independence Day in the organization’s headquarters on May 27, 2009.

The Georgian Foreign Ministry was allowed to pay 12,549 EUR to UNESCO in accordance with the order of the country’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
