German School in Tbilisi

On the occasion of the signing of a grant agreement for the construction of a new building for the German International School in Tbilisi a reception was held at the residence of German Ambassador to Georgia HE Bettina Cadenbach on March 3.

The German School was established in 2010. It has currently 6 classes and a kindergarten with 109 children. It is designed that the school will have 12 classes with 300 pupils and a kindergarten. The land plot for the construction of the school was given to the German side for the symbolic price of 1 GEL. Alltogether German Government will allot 3.2 million Euros for this purpose.

The Chairman of the Board of the German International School Sascha Ternes thanked the Georgian side for the co-operation.
