Solid amount of money donated to Salome Zurabishvili

Solid amount of money has been donated too presidential candidate Salome Zurabishvili in the last 5 days.

State Audit Office reported that Poti majoritarian MP Irakli Khakhubia, as well as several businessmen, including Zurab Bubuteishvili, Executive Director of the Saradjishvili company, Chichiko Goletiani, owner of 100% shares of the Kakhelebi company, and Bondo Goletiani, shareholder of Georgian Mobile Import are among the donors.

It is worth mentioning that the Georgian Dream ruling party is supporting former Foreign Minister, who is now an independent MP, Salome Zourabichvili as president, the candidate who is strongly opposed by the opposition.

Irakli Khakhubia donated 60 000 GEL, Zurab Bubuteishvili - 50 000 GEL, Chichiko Goletiani - 35 000 GEL and Bondo Goletiani - 25 000 GEL, Gocha Kurdgelia - 40 000 GEL, Artur Arabian - 25 000 GEL, etc.



Meeting with MEP confirmed Georgia’s leadership on European Integration path

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Davit Zalkaliani paid an official visit to Brussels, where he held meetings in the European Parliament and EU institutions.

Zalkaliani said that Georgia’s success and leadership on the path of European and Euro-Atlantic integration was highlighted.

“Very interesting meetings are taking place. It is important that we have very clear support of the European Parliament as the country's territorial integrity, as well as European and Euro-Atlantic integration, which has once again been confirmed at all meetings,” he said.

The meeting with members of the European Parliament touched upon the institutional and democratic reforms implemented in Georgia, the agenda of Georgia's European integration. Special attention was paid to the situation in the occupied regions of Georgia, the security of the local environment and the Georgian government's peace policy.

The Minister spoke about the serious humanitarian situation in the occupied regions of Georgia, emphasized the support of the international community towards Georgia. (By Mariam Chanishvili)
