By Mariam Chanishvili
Wednesday, March 13
Three Georgian cities – Batumi, Zugdidi and Tbilisi – hosted workshops that help creative entrepreneurs to develop their ideas into businesses.

The workshops are conducted by leading Estonian experts and Georgian mentors.

TeamLab Batumi took place on March 12, while the same event in Zugdidi is planned to take place on March 13. Tbilisi will host the TeamLab event on March 15-16.

TeamLab brought together people with different competencies, including musicians, actors, designers, performers, marketers, engineers, designers, IT specialists, business majors, etc.

Each TeamLab participant has a chance to work on his/her creative idea or as a member of other teams with the help and careful tutoring from Estonian experts and Georgian mentors.

At the beginning of each TeamLab workshop, several (5-8) teams are formed each consisting of 3 to 5 people with different skills and backgrounds. Each team has a chance to work on developing one business idea.

It is worth mentioning that among the workshop participants, several best teams are going to be selected to participate in a business acceleration program and attend a world-famous startup forum, Latitude 59 held annually in Tallinn, Estonia in May.

The events are organized by Creative Estonia / Loov Eesti, Creative Caucasus and Creative Georgia and supported by Estonian Development Corporation, Adjara A.R. Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, Zugdidi Technopark and Zugdidi Municipality.

Since 2015, Creative Caucasus has been at the forefront of developing a creative entrepreneurial ecosystem in Georgia and the Caucasus.
