PM says new infrastructure will make Okatse waterfall popular for tourists

During his visit to Kinchkha, Prime Minister, Mamuka Bakhtadze, said that thanks to the new infrastructure near the Okatse waterfall, the number of tourists will be tripled.

For the project GEL 1 100 000 was allocated from the Budget. The work done by the Agency of The Protected Areas will make the place more tourist-friendly.

As PM noted, there are a lot of infrastructural projects being carried out at this moment in the municipality of Khoni, including the rehabilitation of schools, and in the near future, Khoni will have its own Training Center.

Bakhtadze visited the natural monument with the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia, Levan Davitashvili.



Kobulia: “I’m ready to present the report on what I did”

“There were talks that I was not doing my job right. I don’t know what it means, and nobody could explain,” said Kobulia, ex-Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.

As he said, the ministry was doing the job as it was needed, and if anyone is not sure of this, he can present a report on everything that he accomplished while he was in the office.

“If anyone wants to know what the ministry did during the last months, I’m ready to present a report to them and they can be a judge of what was right and wrong,” noted Kobulia.
