Kobulia to have a meeting in Parliament

Invited by the Group of MPs, Former Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Giorgi Kobulia, will have a meeting in Parliament on May 15.

The meeting will be held in the cinema hall of the Parliament. Levan Koberidze, a former member of the majority informed the MPs about the invitation. “Due to the high interest of the public, a group of MPs sent a letter to former Minister of Economy, Giorgi Kobulia, and offered to come to the open format discussion in the parliament,” said Koberidze.

As he noted, the meeting will be held with people who are interested in the work that Kobulia did while he was in the office for 8 months. “We will exchange ideas and views about the development of Georgian economy, and see what are the visions of the ex-minister.”



Georgian wrestlers succeed in Ukraine tournament

Kerim Machalikashvili from Pankisi Gorge, a member of the Georgian Greco-Roman wrestling team, won a silver medal in the Kyiv international tournament finals in 63 kg weight category.

According to the Wrestling Federation, Gela Bolkvadze (77kg) became the winner of the tournament. Guram Khetsuriani (87kg) won a silver medal, as he couldn’t proceed into the finals due to an injury. The bronze medal winners are Demur Kavtaradze (77kg), Beka Mamukashvili (77kg) and Yuri Lomadze (72kg).

The 23rd International Tournament began on May 10 in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv.
