Tourist drowned in Sea in Ureki

A tourist man drowned in the sea in Ureki on July 10.

The Emergency Management Services stated that the incident took place in the afternoon. According to their information, the deceased's wife called and notified that her husband disappeared, while they were swimming in the sea.

The divers were involved in the searching activities, but the man's body was discovered a kilometer from the accident on the shore.

After the storm in Ureki, the rescuers were warning tourists to be careful with the water.

The Emergency Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on the residents to obey the instructions of the rescuers and to protect safety norms.

The rescue team saved 17 people in Ureki on July 10.



One person detained after People Injured in Grenade Blast in Tbilisi

Law enforcers detained one person a grenade explosion in a military settlement on the outskirts of Tbilisi.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has released the above mentioned information.

The committed crime envisages between 16 to 20 years or a life sentence imposed for a life sentence.

The investigation found that on July 10 of the current year, the defendant had a conflict with the victims. Later, based on revenge, he threw a grenade from the upper floor in the entrance of one of the buildings in Tbilisi, Varketili. Three people suffered the result of the explosion.

"In connection with the incident in the Varketili area, the Interior Ministry has launched an investigation. Three individuals were injured in the incident. They were transferred to a hospital," reads the statement by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the Ministry, the person responsible for the incident had been identified and put on the wanted list.
