Three more electric power lines will connect Georgia and Turkey, increasing the transmission capacity between the two states to 1600 megawatts, according to the news agency Regnum.
The announcement comes after outgoing Prime Minister Zurab Noghaideli and Energy Minister Aleksandre Khetaguri visited Turkey on November 14 to discuss economic and energy issues with government officials.
