Georgia 96 in human development index

According to a recent United Nations Development Program (UNDP) human development report, Georgia ranks 96 in the human development index, two places ahead of Azerbaijan, but 13 behind Armenia.
Belarus is the highest-ranked Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) country, with a score of 76. The Baltic countries were the highest-ranked of the former Soviet states.
Iceland, Norway, Australia, Canada and Ireland topped the index.
The index is based on data including life expectancy, GDP per capita, and level of education in society.
