Georgia ranked 32nd in economic freedom index

Georgia has been ranked 32nd in a world economic freedom index conducted by The Wall Street Journal and the Heritage Foundation. The Georgian economy is calculated to have an economic freedom score of 69.2, 0.1 down on last year’s figure.

Armenia was ranked 28, with a score of 70.3, while Azerbaijan scored 55.3, leaving the country at 107th place on the index.

The study considered trade freedom, business freedom, fiscal freedom and government size, among other indicators.
