Azerbaijani company to deliver piping for Georgia pipeline

On January 22 an Azerbaijani company signed an agreement with Millennium Challenge Georgia to deliver USD 6.4 million worth of piping and construction materials for rehabilitation work on the North-South natural gas pipeline in Georgia, according to the news agency Regnum.
The Gas and Oil Corporation of Georgia is undertaking the rehabilitation project, due to enter its second phase this summer, in which nine sections of the pipeline will be renovated and seven addition kilometers of pipeline built.
The project began in 2006, and is scheduled to take three years to complete at a total cost of USD 44.5 million.
