Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met Ukrainian counterpart Victor Yushchenko on January 24 at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the news agency Regnum reports.
The two presidents discussed bilateral relations between their nations, including the issue of the Odessa–Brody–Gdansk pipeline and the possibility a broader energy transit space in the region.
Aliyev confirmed he will participate in the Kiev Energy summit in May, and said he will soon pay an official visit to Ukraine.
