5 Georgians among Russia’s richest

Five Georgians made it to the annual rich list published by Russian magazine The Financial.
Bidzina Ivanishvili dropped ten places on last year’s ranking, and came in at 35 with his estimated fortune of USD 4.5 billion. Ivanishvili owns the Unikor Group which has interests in real estate, agriculture and banking.
Kutaisi-born Shalva Chigirinsky, who co-owns oil company Sibir Energy, also made the list with an estimated USD 2.9 billion fortune, as did Eurasia Drilling Company co-owner Aleksandre Japaridze with USD 1.8 billion.
