Armenia aims to become regional financial centre

Armenia is getting ready to become a financial centre for the South Caucasus, says Prime Minister Tigran Sarkisian, who has committed himself to creating an economic situation in the country which will facilitate such developments.

The HSBC Bank Armenia management, and that of other banks, expects to participate in supporting the ambitious plans of Armenian leadership. So far Georgia has played a leading role in this sector and shown strong potential to become the financial services leader in this region, but now the challenge is here.
