Interior Ministry will investigate Euroline plane incident
On September 18, 2008, at 21:27 p.m., an aviation incident occurred at Tbilisi International Airport when the undercarriage of an AN-24 type Euroline passenger plane failed to function properly on landing, resulting in the nose of the plane touching the runway, an Interior Ministry official statement reads, as Akhali Taoba reports.
“As a result of the accident, stewardess Lia Maisuradze, has received injuries in the lower extremities of her body. Four more crew members were in the plane at the time of the incident,” the MIA reports.
