Authorities optimistic about investments

Investments in Georgia in recent times have mostly come from Asian countries, with Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates leading the way. Despite the war and the loss of some of these investments, the Georgian authorities are still optimistic and assure the population that the country is still attractive for foreign investors.
The Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of Parliament, Lasha Zhvania, is sure that investments from Israel in particular will increase. He insists that Israeli people are used to war conditions and not scared by the situation in Georgia. “More investments will come to Georgia than the country has seen before,” Zhssvania says.
