The majority of MPs don’t care about the people - MP
Opposition MP Gia Tsagareishvili has spoken about the sad tradition of budget discussion in Parliament, Sakartvelos Respublika reports.
Tsagareishvili mentioned that discussing budget bills in an empty hall had become a tradition of the present Parliament as well. He said that this indicates that the majority of Parliamentarians don’t care about how the country and its people will live in future, “And they don’t care about how to govern the country at all,” Tsagareishvili added.

“Today we officially present our demand for the impeachment of Mikheil Saakashvili. We ask Georgian MPs to do their duty and sign this document. If they won’t do this, it will be asked whether they should be impeached as well,” said the Labour Party’s Political Secretary Giorgi Gugava.

The company announced that from 2009, the customers of digital stations in Signagi, Telavi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, Khashuri, Kareli, Kaspi, Borjomi, Zestaponi, Samtredia, Kharagauli, Senaki, Khobi, Ozurgeti, Poti, Abasha, Lanchkhuti and Zugdidi would pay the new GEL 8 fee, but customers of the old analog stations would continue to pay GEL 3. Refugees in Samtredia left without assistance
Akhali Taoba reports that Gia Tsagareishvili has spoken about the problems of 300 refugees in Samtredia, who were left without electricity for eight months. At a Parliament session he called upon the MP for Samtredia, Avandil Sturua, to get involved in this issue, although he added that he isn’t personally acquainted with this MP.
Tsagareishvili said that solving this problem would only require GEL 11 thousand. “Let’s have pity on those people. Imagine that we are one of them. Maybe those who are responsible for this will hear us and give them electricity even for a week, to greet the New Year with,” said Tsagareishvili.
