Georgia 32nd in economic freedom rating

The Heritage Foundation and the Wall Street Journal have published the economic freedom rating for 2008. Georgia is 32nd, while Azerbaijan is 99th and Russia 146th of the 179 countries and territories surveyed. Our neighbour Armenia is just 1 place ahead of Georgia, in 31st.
Top of the list is Hong Kong and bottom is North Korea. The rating is an index of different aspects of each economy, such as the investment climate, entrepreneurship, freedom from corruption and so on.
