April will bring new challenges for the Georgian economy

Together with the August war and world financial crisis consequences the scheduled protest actions of the opposition will create extra challenges for Georgian business. Political risks will increase and the degree of instability will become higher.
Political risk threatens not only local businesses but foreign investors. Since the August war not many investors have been willing to come to Georgia.
Economic expert Demur Giorkhelidze thinks that in the current situation it is hard to imagine any big inflow of investments into the country.
