The Georgian Tourism and Resorts Department has hosted a crew from South Korean TV station DK Media. The TV journalists shot film of the State Museum of Georgian Folk Songs and Instruments and visited the Kakheti region, specifically Sighnaghi, Alaverdi and Gremi. They also recorded a performance of the Erisioni women’s folklore group.

The South Korean TV project will showcase Georgian folk song and dance. The Georgian Tourism and Resorts Department says that a documentary film will be prepared based on the video materials shot. The aim of the programme will be to promote Georgian folk song and dance in Asian countries. It will be broadcast in 11 Asian countries.
