Azeri-Turkish business issues

Member of the Economic Policy Committee of the Azerbaijani Parliament Nazim Mamedov has stated that there is certain unreasonable interference by Azerbaijani official structures in the affairs of Turkish businessmen and this should stop.
As is known Turkish companies have invested a lot in former Soviet countries, in particular Turkic states. or over the last 9 years Turkey has invested around USD 3 billion in Azerbaijan. Mamedov suggests and hopes that Turkish companies will be able to continue working in the country without interference by the state. On the contrary, he says, the state should make it easier to conduct business in the country.
