Puppet regimes try to create new image

Russian PR specialists are making serious efforts to improve the international images of the Russian puppet regimes of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. The Abkhaz and South Ossetian puppet Governments are not being charged for this service however, and presumably the Russian state is financing it.

According to Reuters Abkhazia and South Ossetia have hired American consulting company Saylor and its major task is to explain to the world that the Russian Army saved these ‘countries’ from the ‘ruthless attack’ of Georgian troops. The company also has to explain to the world that Georgians should not return to those regions. Abkhazia has also ordered the company to cover its steps to build democracy.

Previous PR for these breakaway territories was conducted by Russian official structures, but now they prefer to give this work to acknowledged international professionals. The Saylor company is said to have been employed by different countries including Ethiopia and North Korea, and generally concentrates on countries with bad images.
