ICC Georgia meets Minister of Economy

ICC Georgia arranged a meeting between its members and Minister of Economic Development of Georgia Zurab Pololikashvili and head of the Investment Department Irakli Matkava, who spoke about the ways of achieving further close cooperation between business community representatives in Georgia and official bodies to facilitate the development of business in Georgia.
Fady Asly, chairman of ICC Georgia, suggested establishing a body which would facilitate more active interrelation between officials and the business community. He also stressed that not only should foreign investors be encouraged to invest hundreds of millions in Georgia but the country should mobilise money among local businessmen by creating appropriate beneficial conditions. Irakli Matkava informed the audience of the services his department provides to attract investments into Georgia.
