Village will get more and better water

On November 20 the opening ceremony for the project for the improvement of the water supply system in Sioni village in the Tianeti district, a project funded by the Japanese Government, was held. The event was attended by Japanese Ambassador to Georgia HE Masayoshi Kamohara.

The grant contract of the abovementioned project was concluded on 19 November 2008 between the Embassy of Japan and the Aquamedia fund. The aim of the project is to restore the permanent water supply in Sioni village through rehabilitating the village's water collector, reservoir and sterilisation room. 1,000 residents of Sioni village will benefit from the project.
