The meeting brought together representatives of 35 Georgian companies, academic institutions and non-governmental organisations who are part of the Network. The session reviewed the work done by the Network in 2009 and discussed priorities for the coming year.

The Georgian Global Compact Local Network is an informal association of companies, non-governmental organisations and academic institutions who are signatories of the Global Compact. The GGCLN serves as the platform for the exchange of knowledge and information which will lead to dialogue, and joint action, aimed at the promotion of the principles of responsible business as enshrined in the Global Compact initiative, and their incorporation into the everyday operations of affiliated organisations.
